What truly sticks the knife in the heart is when Bingo calls her father out on this after seeing Bluey cry at this revelation, calling him a baddie and the look on Bandits face, a feeling of remorse and regret, is utterly heartbreaking, nearly destroying his loving family relationship with his daughters. Bluey feels so betrayed and hurt by this, she feels like her father doesnt even love her since he was throwing a self-portrait of herself away. He points out gently she does a lot of drawings, given she views them being on the fridge as an honour, while Bluey feels like Bandit didnt truly value her work after all in this situation. He panics when some of the drawing paper slips out of the box he was gonna dump and Bluey is horrified. So its made worse when Bandit didnt let them know about this earlier, probably out of fear of their inevitable reactions.
BLUEY SLEEPYTIME EPISODE MOVIE
What makes this scene so much sadder is that Bluey and Bingo both look up to their father as the goodie (their hero) in their eyes, being so young and they were briefly talking about a superhero movie promotion that was on the side of a bus earlier, adding to the later scene.

It even causes Bingo to remark that he's "throwing away Bluey".
